United Way’s mission is to unite changemakers, advocate for social good, and develop solutions to the challenges no one can solve alone. Our vision is a community where all people thrive regardless of income, race, or place.
An example of a focus area impacting everyone is United Way’s 211 resource helpline, which refers neighbors to critical basic needs like mental health referrals. United Way also invests in local nonprofit partners on the front lines of community led change in housing, food, education, and jobs.
